Andrew Baxt is a documentary filmmaker based in Southern California. He has edited television series and features for National Geographic, ABC, OWN, NBCUniversal, Showtime, PBS and VICE; and has produced content for Honest Tea, The US Census Bureau, Philips and The New York Times.
Then They Laid Themselves Down, his first short documentary as a director, premiered at the 2020 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
His feature documentary debut, Session, If A House Be Divided, about the Tennessee House of Representatives, premiered at the Nashville Film Festival in September 2024.
